How can I help? That's a question we get asked a lot at races. There are many ways friends, fans, family and businesses help Ryan and team carry on his grandfather's legacy of racing to win the Iditarod Sled Dog Race. Some sponsor a mile, dog, or even the whole kennel. Some folks buy a t-shirt and that helps too! Below are some of our most popular options for stepping in.
Sponsor an "Iditarod Mile" in the next upcoming Iditarod. Mile sponsors receive recognition on our website.
$1,000 +
Kennel Sponsors contributing $1,000 or more will receive recognition of sponsorship at races and on our website. In addition, businesses sponsoring $3,000 or more will have their company's logo patch displayed on our website, winter gear and sled bags for business visibility.
Going to be in Alaska this summer? Meet Ryan and see the dogs in action! Take a dog-powered wheeled cart ride surrounded by the gorgeous scenery around Girdwood, Alaska, and the Turnagain Arm. Along the way keep an eye out for beluga whales, Dall sheep, bears and moose.
A medical fund especially for emergency veterinary expenses. Through generous donations we have been able to finance Wildfire's multiple surgeries and physical therapy needs, and a few other medical procedures for our canine athletes. Use the donate button or contact us if you would like more information about arranging a custom donation.
$250
Dog sponsors receive recognition on the dog's bio and a team photo personalized by Ryan. Dogs and puppies are available to sponsor at the $250 giving level, and each may have multiple sponsors. Don't be shy! Who's your favorite pup? Funds help to feed the dogs top-quality performance kibble, raw proteins, fats, and supplements; update yearly vaccines; house and harness them for one year.
Every race usually has a designated "Meet the Mushers" time before the race starts. Pop over and say hello to your favorite dog, show your Team Green spirit, and cheer on the racers!
